SUPP in Mukah
SUPP President, Tan Sri Peter Chin took to the streets of Mukah and Balingian to campaign for Barisan Nasional candidate, Yussibnosh Balo with Publicity Chief, Dato’ Sebastian Ting. The two attended a function this afternoon in Mukah town where the Chief Minister, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Adenan Satem met with Chinese voters. SUPP Sarikei – Education Seminar
SUPP Sarikei recently held an Education Seminar attended by over 200 people. Youth Chairman, Teng Ung Woo said the purpose of the seminar, which they had been doing for the past 11 years, was to assist school leavers to have an idea of what to expect in their higher education. He said the seminar also assisted those with poor financial background to apply for education loans. The seminar was held at the Golden Dragon Hotel Sarikei.
警区主任：古晋是安全城市
古晋警区主任罗斯兰助理总监披露，开年以来，古晋警区的罪案率下降31.90%，即比去年同期减少238宗案件，因此，古晋可说是非常安全的城市。 不过，民众还是得继续与警方合作，确保犯罪活动持续受到打压。 他说，即使是小型案件，损失小的“芝麻小事”，民众还是可以向警方投报。 “若市民没有向警方提供资讯，警方无法真正掌握地区上的治安讯息，自然无法有效地打击犯罪活动。” 罗斯兰今日配合明日第207届警察日召开新闻发布会时指出，古晋警方于今年共展开6项行动，各有斩获，这些行动是确保古晋治安继续受到维护。 该6项行动，分别是涉及打击黑帮、色情及赌博活动的“特别除暴行动”、“骰子行动”（OPS Dadu）及“玫瑰行动”（OPS Noda）；以及旨在打击偷窃财物及交通工具的“快速行动”（ OPS Lejang）、“上门行动”（OPS Pintu）及“防范偷车行动”（OPS Rentap）。
