陈开诚邀民众踊跃前往肯雅兰年货市场
由古晋南市市政局主办，肯雅兰园民众联谊会以及砂拉越人民联合党协办的肯雅兰年货市场，将在明晚（18日，星期六）正式开幕，逾270个售卖各种类年货的摊位，势必为各界民众提供多不胜数的购物选择！ 肯雅兰年货市场的开幕礼将邀请前联邦工程部副部长拿督杨昆贤以及砂人联党秘书长沈桂贤医生共同主持，其他受邀嘉宾尚包括活动筹委主席兼人联青总团长陈开，多位社区领袖如天猛公刘金荣、本固鲁陈兴枝、本固鲁陈传禹以及已故殷商拿督斯里蔡清木的夫人拿丁斯里邓兰花等。 “每当提起年货市场，没有人能够否认或忘记肯雅兰年货市场曾经是古晋区最大型及最热闹的年货市场之一，在早些年是每个古晋市民购买年货的理想选择。我坚信，只要我们努力共同将这个地区发展起来，肯雅兰可以恢复以往的光辉！” 除了展示所售卖物品的价格和保持周围环境清洁卫生，陈开也劝请摊主业者们尽量把他们的车辆停放在肯雅兰园菜市场底楼的停车场，以便把商店附近的停车位留给前来购物的消费民众。 今年的肯雅兰年货市场将连续摆卖两个星期，从今日起至除夕当天，及17至30日为止。陈开呼吁各界民众扶老携幼前来选购价格公道品质良好的年货，同时也感受浓郁的佳节气氛。
Chinese New Year sale
SUPP Youth Central Chairman, Tan Kai called upon members of the public to visit the biggest market in Sarawak, the Kenyalang Park New year Festival sale, selling Chinese New Year goodies. Tan Kai who is the Organising Chairman said there are over 270 stalls selling everything for the Chinese New Year from decorative items to food stuffs. Wilfred Yap – Blackout
SUPP Central Youth Secretary General Wilfred Yap hit out at SEB today over the recent power blackout that hit Kuching and Sri Aman Divisions where hundreds of thousands of people’s daily routine were affected.
