人联党促卫生部解释圣淘沙培训学院关闭是否关闭

砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉拉局主任叶耀星及砂越人民联合党欧巴支部主席尼波尼乌德接获许多民众询问有关隶属马来西亚卫生部的圣淘沙培训学院(ILKKM)可能即将关闭;该医学院位于圣淘沙医院隔壁。 圣淘沙医疗学院建于2007年,耗资2千2百万令吉。尼波尼乌德于2007年在该医学院担任院长,直至2016年退休。他得知卫生部有计划关闭圣淘沙培训学院,且所有提升及维修工程已全部停止。从2019年7月开始,该学院已停止招收新学员;卫生部对此也没有任何回应。 圣淘沙培训学院(ILKKM)的设立是为了培训来自砂拉越及沙巴的助理环境卫生官员,及公共卫生助理。该医学院向向学员提供的课程包括关个人卫生,畜牧业,环境卫生,健康教育,传染病及预防方式,农村供水,厕所和固体废物的建设,以及治疗乡村地区的常见病症。 圣淘沙医培训学院(ILKKM)对砂拉越及沙巴尤其重要,因为两州的乡村人口众多且地区广阔。该医学院的设立也可让更多砂拉越及沙巴学员接受培训成为助理环境卫生官员,及公共卫生助理;因为砂拉越及沙巴的学员无需前往西马接收培训,减轻开销负担。 叶耀星及尼波尼乌德代表砂拉越大众向卫生部培训部门呼吁重新考虑并继续为沙巴及砂拉越有抱负成为助理环境卫生官员和公共卫生助理的学员提供培训。砂拉越及沙巴迫切需要更多助理环境卫生官员和公共卫生助理以减少媒介传播的疾病(例如登革热和疟疾);并履行法规进行执法(例如 1985年食品法规)。 他们希望卫生部可以秉持公平公正的原则,就是否关闭圣淘沙培训学院进行审查。沙巴及砂拉越只有一间圣淘沙培训学院,但是西马却有四间培训学院(ILKKM) (雪兰莪州双溪毛糯培训学院, 霹雳州怡保培训学院,森美兰州培训学院,吉打州亚罗士打培训学院) 砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局已做好准备并尝试通过相关部门解决影响社区的公共议题。人联党公共投诉局已准备好为面对相关问题却不懂得如何处理的民众伸出援手。任何相关事宜可联系人联党公共投诉(016-7797688或082246999)或亲临人联党总部。

Submit application for funding of Unifor, Datuk Sebastian Ting 

Assistant Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Sebastian Ting urged non-Muslim organisations to submit applications for funding to upgrade their houses of worship or for other religious-related activities by April.  He said Sarawak government had allocated RM50 million to Unifor and last year 212 applicants were approved.  In 2017, RM10 million was allocated to Unifor; this had increased to RM15 million in 2018.
