SUPP youth: Non-BN parties not welcomed
Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) is prepared and ever willing to work closely with the other 3 components parties (namely PBB, PRS and SPDP) of State BN for the coming state election, the glory of which is very much dependent on the impeccable unity among the four components parties. The so-called BN friendly parties are at best our “friend” but not our “partner” under BN coalition and they are never allowed to use BN ticket to contest in the election.
Milton Foo, who is SUPP Youth Central Publicity and Information Secretary, expressed that the principle and rules of BN must be unequivocally abided by and strictly adhered to by all the component parties of PBB, SPDP, PRS and SUPP which have been in partnership since long ago. The BN spirit must be duly upheld in order to preserve the strong foundation of the ruling coalition in Sarawak.
Foo further reiterates that under the rules, non BN party or BN friendly party could never stand as BN candidate in the election. To break the unprecedented rules would make the coalition at stake and is not beneficial to the State BN but the opposition party.
As regards seat allocation, appointment of candidate and other matters incidental to the the state election, Foo said such matters are internal affairs for discussion and negotiation among the key leaders of 4 component parties on equal basis or footing (emphatically stressed) at the BN Supreme Council. Any other party who is not a BN component party would have no hand at all and not an iota say on it.
Foo also expressed disappointment over the manipulation of PM’s speech by certain fraction during “the Leaders with the People #sarawakfornajibAssembly” conveying a wrong and misleading message to the people that BN friendly party can also represent BN to contest in the state election.
Currently SPDP, SUPP, PRS, Gerakan, MCA and other component parties in BN nationwide has expressed their objection to the admission of UPP and TERAS into BN.
Foo also urged all Sarawakian to render full and undivided support to Adenan and State BN under his leadership, to give him a chance to drive Sarawak into a modern, sophisticated and better place to live in Malaysia and to realise the dreams of dozens into a reality for the sake and best benefit of the Sarawak people.
