Abolishment of the Asean bridge toll
Secretary General of Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Dato’ Sebastian Ting thanked the Chief minister who had abolished the Asean bridge toll fees.
Ting said the Mirians were delighted with the news and it was well received from all quarters.
He added that not too long ago, the toll at Sibu Lanang bridge was also abolished. Throughout Sarawak, the ferry fee is RM 1.
“What the chief minister has done was for the benefit of the people. He is really a chief minister who reached out to all races and do the right thing to relief the rakyat of their daily burdens.
He said while in Miri recently, the Chief Minister told the people to give him another one term to finish what he set out to do for the people.
Ting said SUPP will definitely do that without fail and give him the full support. He added that SUPP has been trying its very best to serve the people and to render assistance to whoever need so.
