Dr Sim: a medical school for UNIMAS
Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian said he will continue to fight in the Senate for Sarawak to have a medical school for Unimas.
At a Chinese new year gathering at the Sarawak General Hospital yesterday morning, Dr. Sim said a teaching hospital is necessary here as our population warrants for one.
He said in Sarawak, the population is more than that of Kota Baru and they have a medical university there.
He assured that he will continue to fight more for Sarawak in term of medical facilities and funding for Sarawak.
Also at the function were Director of SGH, Dr. Chin Jin Hin and doctors and nurses.
