Senatorial visit from Indonesia
Malaysia hosted a Courtesy call and dialogue with the Visiting Speaker of The Regional Representatives Council of the Republic of Indonesia, HE Irman Gusman and 11 other Indonesian Senators.
The Malaysian side was lead by Senate President YB Tan Sri Abu Zahar Ujang. Also present is Deputy Senate President YB Datuk Doris Sophia Ak Brodi and three other senators including Senator Datuk Dr Sim, President of SUPP.
The meeting discussed on trade, culture and the urgent need for people to people dialogue, especially the Youth in their 20’s as well as the routine and regular regional meetings such as between Sarawak and Kalimantan provinces. This is to enable us do much more in terms of market access, tourism, education and health care.
