E-Kasih gotong royong
The Ministry of Rural and Regional development program for assistance of ‘E-Kasih’ house situated at Lot 588 Kpg Lereng Bukit, Miri which was completed a few months ago, still needed assistance to clear the compound area from tons of construction materials debris.
The house recipient Me Anak Sana, had requested help from the NRC11 as she could not afford the cost of removing the debris which requires the rental of 10 hours of back-hoe and trucks. A ‘Gotong royong’ session was then organised by NRC11 members in Miri and with strong support from NRC11 headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, the local SUPP Miri Piasau Chairman, Dato Sebastian Ting, Penghulu Samad and the Ketua Kaum at Kpg Lereng Bukit.
The house compound was finally cleaned to the satisfaction of the house recipient.
