Malaysia is a multiracial and multi-cultural country. Along the path of culture, Chinese education in Malaysia has formed its unique manner compared to China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea. To ensure students understand their mother tongue, calligraphy is also one of the compulsory subject to be learned. Calligraphy is commonly taught and its value is undoubted.
However, learning calligraphy should not be restricted to Chinese school, Its skills and values should be spread out to every Malaysian, regardless of ethnic or religion.
