First CWC meeting
SUPP President Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian and his secretary general, Dato’ Sebastian Ting, held their first Central working committee (CWC) which was described as cheerful, fruitful and productive.
The meeting, which lasted over three hours, discussed on a number of committees set up to cater to the different needs for the people.
Dr. Sim said the committees set up were Land issues, to be headed by Dato’ Sebastian Ting, Small Medium Entrepreneur by Tan Kai, Bumiputra section by Datuk Sri Richard Riot, Education by Ding Kuong Hing, and Think Thank group by Datuk Lee Khim Shim.
“The infighting is a thing of the past. We now concentrate on giving services and engaging with the people. The new CWC members were also briefed on what was to be done. Now we let our work speak for itself,” he added.
Dr. Sim said they have three advisors, Tan Sri Peter Chin, Datuk David Teng and Datuk Alfred Yap who were will helping them along.
Earlier on, the new team paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Minister.
