Leakage of UPSR Science paper
SUPP Central committee expressed their unhappiness over the Examination Syndicate for the leakage of Science paper for Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) as students and parents would be frustrated over the change of new dates.
The Examination Syndicate said that the UPSR Science Paper number 018 had already been widely spread on the Internet and have decided to change the date for the examination from September 11, 2014 to September 30, 2014.
According to the statement, the Malaysian Ministry of Education and The Examination Syndicate will be taking action on those responsible for the leakage of the UPSR exam paper to make sure that it won’t happen again in the future.
SUPP urged the Examination Syndicate to be more cautious during the printing and issuing of the papers to prevent the same unfortunate event from happening again.
Second Education Minister, Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh had apologized for the leakage of the UPSR papers. Police are investigating the case.
SUPP hoped that in future, the Examination Syndicate will do more to ensure examination papers were not leaked as this would tarnish their reputation .
