Assistance for fire victim
About 20 people, including children, were made homeless when their rented rooms in Kampung Lereng Bukit Miri were razed by fire at about
9.30pm on Monday.
The houses were burned after one of the owner’s son, who is mentally challenged, torched his father’s house.
Publicity Chief of SUPP, Dato’ Sebastian Ting answered the call for assistance and handed over a form of donation to the house owner, Awang Chek Awang Ahmad.
