Teachers honoured for shaping future generations
Dato Ir Lo Khere Chiang attended the 2026 Teachers’ Day Celebration and Special Commemorative Programme at St. Mary School as the guest of honour on Wednesday.
The Batu Kitang assemblyman said the event was held to appreciate the dedication and contributions of educators in shaping future generations, while recognising their important role in nurturing knowledge, values and character among students.
He also conveyed his appreciation and gratitude to teachers for their commitment and sacrifices in educating the younger generation.
“Happy Teachers’ Day to all educators,” he said.
