Piasau mobile service to assist Mirians
A mobile service programme organised by Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Piasau Branch continues to play an important role in reaching out to the public by delivering various services directly to the local community.
Its Secretary-General, Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew, said he attended the programme earlier this morning, which focused on providing face to face assistance to residents.
He said among the services offered were assistance with applications for the Kenyalang Gold Card (KGC), the Sarawak Senior Citizen Health Benefit Scheme, registration for Sarawak Digital ID, as well as matters related to the Sarawak Pay platform (S Pay Global).
“We hope that through this mobile approach, our team can be closer to the people, making it easier for them to obtain assistance, voice their concerns directly, and receive immediate help,” he said.
Ting added that the mobile service programme is held every Sunday as part of ongoing efforts to better understand the needs of the community and to assist with applications for various welfare aid.
“This initiative is important to ensure that every government policy and assistance truly reaches those who are eligible,” he said.
