Adam Yii Hands Over Allocation
Pujut state Assemblyman, Adam Yii officiated a symbolic handover ceremony for allocations totalling RM75,000, benefiting 24 associations and organisations within her constituency.
Yii said the allocations were provided by the Sarawak state government to assist associations, non governmental organisations and societies in carrying out activities, including education, culture and sports, religious programmes and community services.
He stressed that all recipient organisations should use the funds prudently and ensure they are channelled to appropriate purposes for the benefit of members and the wider community.
Yii added that such allocations not only support the operations of community groups but also help drive community development, foster harmony and unity, and encourage organisations to plan meaningful activities that can benefit more people.
The recipients cover a wide range of groups, including cultural associations, sports clubs, youth groups and educational organisations, all playing a positive role in promoting community development and the wellbeing of their members.
