Wilfred Yap Presents RM240,000 UNIFOR Grant to Blessed Sacrament Church BDC
Kota Sentosa Assemblyman Wilfred Yap today handed over a RM240,000 UNIFOR grant to Ms Pauline Lim, witnessed by Father Leonard Yap, for upgrading works at the Blessed Sacrament Church in BDC.
He said the funding will help improve the church’s facilities and create a safer and more comfortable environment for worshippers.
Yap said Sarawak’s support for all religious groups reflects the state’s commitment to social inclusivity.
“Sarawak continues to show through action that inclusivity strengthens unity, stability and progress. No community is left behind,” he said.
“As we work towards PCDS2030, unity remains essential for stronger communities and continued progress,” Yap said.
He said he will continue working with community and religious groups to ensure assistance reaches the people of Kota Sentosa and Kuching.
