Wilfred Yap Presents UNIFOR Cheques Totaling RM780,000 to SK St Alban
Kota Sentosa State Assemblyman Wilfred Yap presented two UNIFOR cheques amounting to RM780,000 to SK St Alban for infrastructure upgrades. The presentation ceremony was witnessed by Anglican Bishop Datuk Danald Jute.
The allocations are as follows:
RM400,000 allocation
- Upgrading of Block B
- Upgrading of the pre school building
- Upgrading of the school open hall and covered court
RM380,000 allocation
- Upgrading of the school library
- Upgrading of the parking area
- Upgrading of the classroom block
Yap said the funding reflects the Sarawak Governments commitment to improving school facilities to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students in Kota Sentosa.
He also acknowledged the cooperation of the school management and the Anglican Church in facilitating the implementation of the projects for the benefit of students and the surrounding community.
“Education development is the foundation for community progress. We want every child in Kota Sentosa to have an environment that supports learning and growth,” he said during the ceremony.
