Mooncake Festival Celebrated in the Spirit of Unity
The 2025 Mooncake Festival was celebrated with great joy at the Thai Poo Association Multipurpose Hall here on Saturday.
Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts who is also the Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting who officiated the event said the Mooncake Festival a cultural tradition of the Chinese community and also a symbol of unity, prosperity, and harmony among Sarawakians of diverse backgrounds.
He added that such celebrations should continue as they strengthen friendship and foster closer ties among party members and the local community in line with the spirit of Segulai Sejalai.
Ting added that Sarawakians are fortunate to celebrate many different festivals together in unity.
