Datuk Sebastian Ting joins gotong royong in Piasau
Piasau State Assemblyman Datuk Sebastian Ting expressed his gratitude for being invited to take part in a gotong-royong (mass clean-up) activity jointly organised by the JKKK Kawasan Piasau and the Residential Committee of Piasau Garden.
“This area is our shared home, and as such, every resident has a role to play in its care and maintenance. While certain infrastructure matters fall under the government’s responsibility — and will be addressed accordingly — the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the environment require collective effort from all of us,” he said.
He extended his appreciation to the JKKK and KRT for including him in the meaningful community event, noting the significance of the turnout on a weekend.
“I truly appreciate everyone who took time from their rest day to come together and help clean and beautify our surroundings. This spirit of unity and teamwork is truly commendable,” he added.
Ting also acknowledged residents who had brought up community issues, assuring them that the concerns would be compiled and forwarded to the City Council for further action.
“We will work closely with the authorities to address these matters as quickly as possible,” he said.
