Padawan Municipal Council Chairman, Tan Kai distributes bins in Jalan Stapok
MPP Chairman Tan Kai said the council, in collaboration with Trienekens, has begun distributing individual rubbish bins to residents across various lanes in the Jalan Stapok Utama Resettlement Area.
He said that once the distribution is completed, the common bin centre along Jalan Stapok Utama will be removed.
“This is a joint effort to address the issue of overflowing rubbish at the bin centre and to curb illegal dumping in the area,” he said.
Tan Kai urged members of the public not to throw bulky rubbish in empty land in Padawan but instead can recycle them when there is a recycling exercise.
