CNY Lighting Ceremony at Poh Kwong Park Garden
Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian lighted up Poh Kwong Park in conjunction with the Chinese New Year 2025, Year of the snake.
He said with Chinese new year round the corner many of the local community will come together to watch the “lighting ceremony”.
Dr Sim said lighting up the streets is not just a Chinese tradition as in Sarawak is a solidarity of the community not just respect of each other celebrations but opportunity to join and participate each other celebration.
