This project aims to promote waste segregation, recycling, and environmental education within the community.
MPP Chairman, Tan Kai said it will be located within the MPP Nursery compound, the centre will not only serve as a used material segregation and recycling venue but also function as an environmental sustainability education hub which will provide a platform for the public to learn about responsible waste management and sustainable living practices.
Besides, he said, the Council will collaborate with Tzu Chi to collect and analyze data on waste management trends in Padawan. This data-driven approach will help refine waste management policies, ensuring Padawan becomes a cleaner, more sustainable municipality with an improved quality of life for its residents.
