Ang Cheng Ho old quarry site rejuvenation Phase 1 inaugural project is equipped with 20,000 square feet, air-conditioned multipurpose hall with innovation hub.
Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian said it was uniquely built on top of the 20 acres water supported by a submerged 8 stories-tall supporting structures under the water
He is hopefully that this will inspire the beginning of other phases to include extreme sports, rock climbing, water sports, light shows, potential hotel in the water.
According to him, this is an opportunity to inject social and economic value to Batu Kawa and Kuching by renewing an unused long-abandoned quarry site. A hidden“unpolished gem”.
This will be another landmark facilities after Batu Kawa Riverbank Park, not just for rakyat of Batu Kawa but also Kuching.
