Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian giving the grant to St Peter’s Church
Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian present a million ringgit from UNIFOR financial grant 2023 for the rebuilding of St Peter’s Church, Padungan.
Dr Sim said the church was rebuilt in semi-gothic architecture with the beautiful stained glass by the specialist artisan from Italy. He believed that it will definitely become a landmark in Kuching.
Many, he added are looking forward to the completion and there is a need to raise a minimum of another RM10 million.
He urged the public to donate generously.
