SJK (C) Chung Hua Miri participates in International Arts Festival in Penang
Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian Ting expressed pride that SJK(C) Chung Hua Miri Orchestra team will participate in the 2023 International Arts Festival in Penang.
Ting said this invaluable participation will enable the members to showcase their outstanding musical talents and promote Chinese culture music on the international stage.
He pray for their success to make Miri proud.
The Chinese Orchestra was established in 2017 and is now in its fifth year. In this short period of time, the team has grown and currently has around 60 members. They had held three successful concerts so far and was even invited to China for their performance.
The Chinese Orchestra of Miri Chinese College expressed its heartfelt thanks to Ting for his continued support.
