Lo khere chiang looking at the RTP project
The stretch of back lane at Lorong 13K Jalan Arang was reconstructed due to broken concrete and grass growing which causes blockage in the drains there.
State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Lo Khere Chiang said a total of RM 271,280 under the Rural transformation programme was allocated to do the repair work there.
Lo who is also Padawan Municipal council Chairman said it will create a clean hygiene backlane there and also there is no fear of clogged drains during the rainy season.
He told residents in the area to refrain from throwing debris or food waste in the drain as they contributed to drain clogs. He reminded them that they should not only take care of the cleanliness of their own houses but also the public area as it will affect them too.
Works on the back lane will commence on July 6 and is expected to be completed by December 5 this year.
