SUPP celebrates Sarawak Day
The youth group and women’s group of the Batu Kawah branch successfully co-hosted the 722 Square Group Dance Performance to celebrate this year’s 722 Sarawak Day.
The event was attended by many cultural dance group which included Mile 7 Kota Sentosa Folk Dance and Mile 10 Kota Padawan Folk Dance .
Deputy Premier, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian this event is organized for three purposes, firstly to celebrate 722 Independence Day, secondly to promote square dancing that is healthy for the body and mind, and thirdly to strengthen the friendship and ties between the three Sarawak seats in the constituency of Stampin.
He added that there is only one Sarawak in the world, and it will always be our home, no matter where we are in the world, we must treasure it.
