DCM Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian tested positive for covid 19
Deputy Chief Minister Minister, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian has been tested positive for covid after he did a PCR test on Monday night.
Dr Sim who was supposed to go for official travelling on Wednesday has put it on hold and is self quarantine for seven days.
” I have no symptoms and my daily morning self testing for the last few days I have tested myself negative.
He said the positive results come as a shock as had daily self testing, always double masks, hand washing and follow SOP. It shows how infectious and how hard to fight COVID19 Omicron surge.
“As part of living with virus , had self reported through MySejahtera, will self isolate and self monitoring for 7 days as per latest MOH SOP,” he added.
He apologised for those who come into contact with him over the last few days and urged them to follow the latest MOH SOP on close contact.
