Giving relief to victims of thunderstorm at Sg. Moyan
Batu Kawah state Assemblyman, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian thanked Jaul Samion, Sarawak State Secretary & Acting Chairman of Sarawak Disasters Management Committee(SDMC ) who visited Taman Moyan Utama to coordinate and facilitate state and federal financial assistance.
A total of RM 7,000 was given to each victims to repair the roofs. Dr Sim thanked JKR Sarawak for doing damage costing, NADMA and Sarawak Welfare Department for the food aid and JPAM and Bomba for continuing to help with the clean-up.
He expressed anger that some people choose to continue playing politics with evil intentions even though the election is over while every related agencies are working hard to support the victims of this natural disaster from the damage of the thunder storm Sunday afternoon.
