Dato Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian unveil his manifesto for Batu Kawah

GPS/SUPP incumbent for Batu Kawah, Dato Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian aimed to ensure that the next five years will be transformation and leave no one behind as the economy bounces back.

Unveiling his manifesto today at his Batu Kawah branch, he said he took the manifesto seriously and it is naturally a future that we want with higher quality of life, healthcare, and livelihood.

Let’s make life easier for all generations in the family, from students to entrepreneurs, including more opportunities for decent, well-paid jobs and work-life balance. Our recovery is not about getting back to the previous point but to accelerate far ahead. Let’s write our next chapter together – Majulah Batu Kawah!” he said.

Safeguard our homes, education and values.

Dr. Sim also hoped to elevate quality of Life & Infrastructure. He vowed to fight for the New 400 -stall wet establishment market for life of Sarawak Cancer convenience and Centre by Ministry of Health Malaysia opportunities, a smoother driving experience with new highway with a second Batu Kawa Bridge, traffic dispersal to reduce congestion, while providing new link between Bau/ Batu Kawah & Matang/ Petra Jaya. Dr. Sim said he will uplift livelihood & Digital Economy Promote Batu Kawah as a destination for Agro-Tourism & Ecotourism Ensure the competition- our rivers and lakes, parks and agriculture farms and good maintenance of Batu Kawah Riverbank Park Set up a modern agriculture Collection Center to help local farmers, and position Batu Kawah as the fresh-produce “Food Basket” of Kuching Generate social and economic value by rejuvenating the abandoned Ang Unlock Batu Kawah’s economic potential for leisure, sports, and MICE (meetings and exhibitions, generate social and economic values by rejuvenating the abandoned Ang Cheng Ho quarry site, to ensure the development of water theme park which will bring vibrancy to the township and establish an Innovation Hub for startups and entrepreneurs while having a high -speed internet upgrades to support your digital lifestyle and business

Rise of Sarawak & Batu Kawah 2.0

Dr Sim said he wanted to see the growth of our community’s liveability and facilities in a sustainable manner, towards becoming a satellite township of Kuching City.

He said there will be an establishment of an iconic Batu Kawah Administration Center complex, which serves as a landmark and new catalyst of economic activities.

Batu Kawah, he believed, beyond 2025 will be part of a Stronger Sarawak as it will have the most major public projects planned for Sarawak (involving utilities, roads, bridges etc) completed by 2025, have everything of our own – development bank DBOS, telecom, TVS, international schools, SarawakPay, PETROS, coast guards, trade office to international markets.

The impact of Constitutional amendment is in the spirit of MA63 and he said Sarawak will be more influential socially (we lead the way as role model of Keluarga Malaysia), economically (resource allocation as equal partner), and now, we must be more united to safeguard Sarawakian interests (STATOS). Batu Kawa, he added, will rise as a prosperous land with a strong, stable foundation .
