Jong Yean Pin with Lumba Kuda Area Committee members distribute food to Lumba Kuda

In collaboration with the Kuching Red Crescent Society, Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Kuching Branch’s Jong Yean Pin distributed food aid to those households in need for the residents of Lumba Kuda recently .

Jong said that due to the slow opening up of the economy even though we are in the third-phase of the national recovery plan, some people still need assistance in their daily lives.

The food aid program is a short-term measure to help those who are still experiencing hardship before they are able to achieve self-sustainable living.

He said SUPP Kuching Branch has always served the people with its people-first principle.

“Since the beginning of MCOs in March last year, SUPP has been working nonstop with the Sarawak government to distribute food aid to the people in need and continues the service to date. SUPP Kuching Branch has been working diligently to serve the people despite it not winning in the Padungan constituency for the last 15 years. We can see that Padungan has been quite stagnant and not much development in progress, ” he added.

Jong urged the people to make a right choice in the coming 12th PRN Sarawak to give SUPP candidates a chance and opportunity to serve the people in the N9 Padungan Constituency.

Together, he said, we can rebuild and revive the vibrancy of Padungan where it once was.
