United we stand, to fight Opposition

Young leaders of SUPP Kuching Branch said that the Party’s younger generation have a vital role to play in upholding the founding spirit of the Party, maintaining party unity, and working hard for the purpose of serving the people in Sarawak.

In a joint statement potential candidate for Padungan, Deputy chairman, Bong Lian Huan, Peter Pau who stood in the last election, Eric Tay, Kuching Youth Secretary and Jong Yean Pin, Treasurer reiterated that, winning back the support of the electorate in the coming state election should be the top priority at this point in time. They call on all Kuching Branch’s members to work together and focus on the task at hand in order to wrest back the Padungan state seat.

They said although SUPP failed to secure Padungan state constituency in the last three consecutive state elections, SUPP Kuching Branch had continued to tirelessly serve the constituents. And it is observed that with the Covid-19 pandemic having adversely impacted the country’s economy and also the livelihood of many people, the health issues and the revival of the economy post-pandemic are now of utmost importance to everyone. Hence, there is a necessity to do away with the political sweet-talkers full of empty promises, and choose the aspirants who can walk the talk and bring real change.

They called upon the voters to help bring real change to the constituency together by supporting the GPS coalition, who has a proven track record in serving the people, in the coming state election.
