Wilfred Yap reaches out to help an OKU

Sentosa Chairman, Wilfred Yap helped to repair the roof of an OKU’s house at Mile 6, Jalan Penrissen through gotong royong.

Yap who is also SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief (SPCB)said the roof the OKU was residing in had partially collapsed and they came to know about it when doing their rounds in the area.

The roof was repaired by members of SUPP Kota Sentosa and JKKK Kota Sentosa Batu Tujuh under Projek Rakyat N12 Kota Sentosa.

Yap added that with the impending 12th Sarawak General Elections to elect a new Sarawak Government, he urged all Sarawakians to continue to throw their support behind GPS Sarawak under the able leadership of Datuk Patinggi Abang Zohari.

“The rally behind GPS will allow GPS to continue to complete the numerous people-centric programmes and policies which cater to the needs and welfare of all Sarawakians. The good programmes and policies have been put in place by GPS and there must be stability of leadership to ensure that Sarawak continues to progress and realise its real potential to be fully developed by 2030. Another reason for Sarawakians to support the present GPS leadership is because GPS has a proven track record and has already done a lot for Sarawakians with its transparent and fair policies based on consultation obtained from the four component parties forming GPS, namely, PBB, PRS, PDP and SUPP. The opposition can talk but time has proven that the opposition cannot deliver on their promises. Only GPS can walk the talk, ” he said.

SPCB he said is always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone facing problems or who come across problems of public interest but does not know how to deal with it.
