Dr Sim Kui Hian calling to public to get thier booster jabs
Volunteer doctors from private general practitioners, specialists and UNIMAS started their work to give booster Dose (Pfizer) at the night clinic at Batu Kawa Health clinic.
Local Government and Housing Minister, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian said once again, these volunteer doctors and the few staffs from Batu Kawa clinic with the Non Government Organisation (NGO) come together, to play their roles and do their parts in rolling out the booster dose vaccination.
In Kuching, he said there are 160,000 who are over 60 and who should receive their booster jab due to the waning effect of their first two doses of Covid-19 vaccines.
For those with 2 doses of Sinovac with more than 3 months or 2 doses of Pfizer more than 6 months, they should go for the third dose.
Dr Sim said it is important to scale up the booster fast so that it can boast the immunity of these vulnerable groups from COVID19 infections, severity and deaths.
He urged the public to play their role and do their part to get your booster dose once they receive MySejahtera appointment.
