Datuk Sebastian Ting distributed Safety kits for Mirians
Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting gave away 2000 safety kits to residents in the city centre, Open Market, Unity food stalls, Old man Street and also kampung Pasir Lutong.
Ting said in each safety kit, there are two bars of soap, 10 face masks and a bottle of hand sanitizer. While doing his rounds of distribution with his Piasau branch members, Ting urged the people to follow SOP.
He said despite many people having two doses of vaccine, the mutated variant now is far more transmissible and dangerous. It is important to remind oneself of wearing masks properly and keeping social distancing, he added. Following SOP does minimise the risks of getting infected as study has shown, he said.
