Dr Sim thanking Bomba for ferrying pfizer to Miri and Sibu
The booster shots for covid 19 will be administered once the group of 12 to 15 years (192,800 at 6.9% of total Sarawak Population) has completed their vaccination, said Local Government and Housing Minister, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian.
Dr Sim said after completing the group, the next will be the booster dose for the frontliners and the vulnerable high risk groups.
He thanked Fire and Rescue service department for helping to bring back the Pfizer vaccines that were loaned to Sabah, transporting it from Sabah to Miri and Sibu.
“With these additional Pfizer vaccines available, Jabatan Kesihatan Sarawak (JKNS) and Jabatan Pendidikan Sarawak (JPNS) will bring forward the vaccination for 12-15 school children to be completed at the designated PPV by next week instead of October.
