Mobile covid 19 vaccination to be held in Sg Apong, Wednesday and Kenyalang Park, this Saturday
The Mobile Outreach team for covid 19 vaccination will be stationed in two places this week in Sg. Apong Basketball court and near Kenyalang Theatre.
Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Woman’s chief, Kho Teck Wan said the bus vaccination service is made to help those who are not able to go for vaccination.
She said the one at Sg. Apong basketball court will be there this Wednesday, August 11 from 8 am to 1 pm while the one at Kenyalang Theatre which will be there on Saturday, 14th August will also be from 8 am to 1 pm.
Kho said experience medical staff from Tanah Puteh clinic will be there to help jab those aged 18 and above. Health Ministry Sarawak and Sarawak Disaster Management committee (SDMC) planned to reach a target of 90 percent of population vaccinated through such program.
The two events were jointly organised by community leaders from Sg. Apong, Sg Apong Baru and Kenyalang Park.
This mobile vaccination started sometimes in March this year but it was mostly for interior Sarawak and ulu areas.
