Sebastian Ting helps raise fund for Chai’s treatment
Assistant Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Datuk Sebastian Ting said a total of RM96,554.99 has been raised from Mirians for the treatment of Chai Chung Sang at a Covid-19 intensive care unit (ICU) at a private hospital in Manila, Philippines. He was working in a developing company there.
His mother, Tang said she was told that her son had very bad fever after receiving his first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on June 13. He has been in ICU since June 21 following severe infection.
The family had nowhere to turn to and seek Ting’s help.
Her mother said Chai needs to undergo another three sessions of treatment with each treatment costing at least RM50,000.
Ting expressed his thanks to all donors who have come together to help the Chai.
Donors included Dayang Holdings, TARC Alumni, RM25,000, Che Sing Khor Moral Society (RM2,000), a group of donors led by Penghulu, Leonard Fong (RM3,000) individuals Khor Wei Long (RM500) and Ting Ho Hing(RM 500).
