SUPP Piasau Food bank offering free takeaway
SUPP Miri Piasau branch chairman Datuk Sebastian Ting launched the ‘Food Bank’ recently in front of its branch, an initiative created with his party workers to help those in need during this difficult time following the lockdown.
Ting who even joined in the cooking said they served rice, vegetables and meat to bring some comfort to the needy.
Che Sing Khor Moral Uplifting Society in Krokop teamed up with SUPP Piasau’s operation besides receiving help from people in the community who donated vegetables and other food items such as bread for the purpose.
Ting reminded opposition parties not to use the white flag movement as an opportunity to score political points as the country has been in the lockdown for 16 months. It is time to put aside political differences and work towards helping those in need.
