Datuk Sebastian Ting with the Drainage Irrigation Department (DID) and contractors looking at the newly constructed drain
Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting went with DID, Council and contractors to view the newly constructed drain of 290 meters in Kampung Sealine.
Ting said the project was planned last year under the Rural Transformation programme (RTP) from the State government.
He said due to frequent flooding there, they were trying to reconstruct the drain to have proper flow of rainwater.
Ting said he was glad that the project was done three months ahead of time. It started in March and was supposed to be completed by September.
