Lo Khere Chiang does his part for Kpg Semeba and Kpg Tematu

State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Lo Khere Chiang expressed disappointment with DAP Abdul Aziz Isa for not only trying to claim credit for things done by GPS but also to pour scorn on what was done for the benefits of the people.

He said it was of no surprise to him that Aziz continued to harp on the land titles of Kampung Tematu and Kpg Semeba.

Aziz recently said that it has been over 20 years where these two Bidayuh villages in Batu Kitang were not given land titles.

Lo added that on August 17 last year, he went with the Community leaders, Penghulu Hajjah Sabtuyah, KK Thomas Gowen from Kpg Semeba and KK Geoffrey Tahang of Kpg Tematu to meet up with the Director of Land and Survey department.

The Director, he pointed out had assured them that land titles will be issued to the eligible land owners. “I myself have been an ADUN for the last five years while KK Thomas was there only for two years and KK Geoffry over a year. Despite our short term, we have been trying to solve whatever problems faced by the constituency in Batu Kitang. We cannot be tackling all problems within a month as every matter brought forward to us is of importance. The term “Lembu bunya susu, sapi dapat nama” suits Aziz very well, ” said Lo.

Since the late Chief Minister, Adenan Satem was in power, he had made a great number of changes to benefit Sarawakians, added Lo and said the present CM, Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari has been emulating the good deeds done by his predecessor besides coming up with dynamic policies.

“Thus, I can only tell Aziz, not to leave us alone to do the best for the rakyat.
