Name of Cluster misleading!

The name of new cluster can be misleading so do not take it at face value.

As Local government and Housing Minister, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian pointed out, the new Cluster Icom has nothing to do with Icom Square.

Dr. Sim said Health Ministry (KKM) finally gazetted this cluster and it remains a mystery to him too how KKM named the cluster as such. He had earlier suggested the name to be “Cluster SWAG” .

Due to the name, shopkeepers at Icom Square said businesses has slowed down yesterday.

The origin of the cluster Icom is still being investigated by relevant agencies and he expected compound and legal actions although nothing can undo the damage done.

Asking the public not to swayed by low statistic positive cases in Kuching, Dr. Sim warned that cases reported in Serian are actually concentrated in Siburan. Siburan is closer to Kuching than Serian! For all medical purposes, he said he will take Kuching numbers to include that of Siburan and Samarahan.

“Sarawakian must be really co-operative, self discipline and our cases should really down in two weeks time so let everyone of us play our roles and do our parts in our war with COVID19. We need solidarity more than ever to win the war against COVID19,” he urged.
