Resurfacing works at Taman Olivve
SUPP PCB Chief cum Kota Sentosa Branch Chairman, Wilfred Yap together with Penghulu Lai Boon Khee and residents inspecting the completed resurfacing works at Taman Olive, Kota Sentosa.
SUPP Kota Sentosa Branch Chairman cum SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief, Wilfred Yap went for inspection and monitoring of resurfacing works at Taman Olive, Batu Tujuh to ensure the resurfacing works are carried out properly by the contractor of Padawan Municipal Council. The resurfacing works were carried out after requests were made by the residents.
Yap said it was during his regular “turun padang” activity to Mile 7 area when he was approached by residents for his assistance to request the local Council to carry out improvement and repair works to damaged infrastructure facilities like burst water pipes, drains and roads. He added that such requests for assistance are always immediately communicated to the relevant authority for the improvement and repair works to settle such problem.
He hoped that Sarawakians will continue to support the far sighted vision and progressive policies of the current GPS Sarawak Government under the able leadership of our Chief Minister YAB Datuk Patinggi Abang Zohari Bin Tun Abang Haji Openg. Sarawakians must stay united under GPS to stand up for our rights, speak with one Sarawak voice with a common goal and objective for a modern and fully developed Sarawak. He warned to be wary and never allow themselves to be misled by opposition political parties with their empty promises and unproductive rhetorics which are just a ploy to fish for support, especially when the current term of the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (Sarawak DUN) shall automatically expire on the 6th June 2021 under Article 21(3) of the Constitution of the State of Sarawak and elections must be held within 60 days after the dissolution of Dun under Article 21(4).
