Face shield for frontliners
450,000 pieces of face shield packed in 2250 cartons as component of PPE were bought by Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Sarawak were shipped directly from Ji Ning City, China all the way to Kuching in 4 x 40ft containers.
Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari had announced Sarawak Government will allocate RM30 million to assist JKNS and Federal Gov on COVID19 as vaccination roll out.
The face shield will be distributed to all the various JKNS health care facilities throughout Sarawak starting tomorrow.
Other PPE including Protective Coveralls 98,800 pieces, plastic apron 350,000 pieces and shoe cover 240,000 pieces will arrive in April.
