St Joseph School block restoration fund
Local government and Housing Minister, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian visited the RM5.5 million St Joseph’s School Mill Hill Block Restoration project scheduled for completion on 30 April with committee of Old Josephians Association (1970).
He thanked Sarawak Government for the RM4 million contribution and ex Josephians, staffs, students and friends for the RM1.5 million.
Dr. Sim said similar to the earlier tradition of other classroom block, 9 classroom in the Mill Hill restoration block will be name after

• Malaysia Government RM300,000
• Upper 6 Arts 1970 RM200,000
• WEIDA RM200,000
• Class of 1970/72 RM106,842
• Form 5 1977 RM102,500
• Class 1983/85 RM102,500
• TYT Pehin Sri Abdul Taib RM100,000
• Tan Sri George Chan RM100,000
Dr Sim called it his biggest and most challenging fund raising in my 10 years as President of OJA and thanked the good job by OJA committee and Building Restoration Committee.
