Wilfred Yap giving the septic tank to a house owner donated by S. D Fibre Trading Sdn Bhd
A dilapidated house at Lorong 3, Stampin Resettlement Scheme in urgent need of a septic sewage tank as the budget of RM15,000 under the “Membaik Pulih Rumah (MPR)” funding was not adequate to cover the cost of the tank was given one, said SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap.
He said after he received the information, Yap secured a donation of the septic sewage tank from S.D. Fibre Trading Sdn Bhd and like to thanked them for their generous contribution and donation for the needy.
He said there are a lot of dilapidated houses within Stampin Resettlement Scheme and appealed to the Federal and State Government to assist the hardcore poor to get decent housing and the government should continuously evaluate, prioritize and enhance their policies on poverty eradication by empowering the poor to improve their access to livelihoods or employment opportunities which in turn will enable them access to better housing conditions.
