Sebastian Ting and Adam Yii checking vaccination centre

State assemblyman for Piasau, Datuk Sebastian Ting and Mayor Adam Yii visited one of the two Covid 19 vaccination centres, Eastwood Golf and Country Club recently.

Ting said the other Covid 19 vaccination centre is Dewan Dato Permaisuri, Senadin.

He said Sarawak Government hoped to provide Covid-19 vaccinations to all Sarawakians, Malaysians from other States and foreigners who are living or staying in Sarawak by end of August 2021 which he said will create a herd immunity.

The present vaccination will be for people age 18 and above.

Ting encouraged Sarawakians and family to register either using Mysejahtera or by filling in the hard copy, which can be obtained from Miri District Office, or local community leaders or my own SUPP Piasau Office.

The first group of people, he added to receive this vaccination will be Frontliners on the 6th March 2021 at Eastwood Golf and Country Club.

They will take the second jab after 21 days.

The second group of people to receive this vaccination will be those in the age group of 60 years and above, likely in the months between April and June.

The other group will likely to take their vaccinations between the months of June and August 2021. He added that there is no compulsion to register or take the vaccination.

Also with them were Miri Acting Resident Tuan Hj Aziz, Dr Jack Wong, Miri Hospital Director, Dr Ravi, Doctors, Bomba, APM and RELA.
