Tan Kai blasts DAP
DAP is pointing an accusing finger at Minister for Housing and Local Government Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian for Sarawak’s covid outbreaks and flash flood after overnight heavy downpour at southern region area, said Political secretary to the Chief minister Tan Kai.
Tan pointed out that in the past, DAP’s ruling state, Penang also faced serious flood and severe landslides incidents after heavy downpour, which caused casualties, yet Lim Guan Eng put the blame and justify it was an act of God.
He said MP Stampin, Chong Chieng Jen, as the DAP Sarawak Chairman dare not ask Lim Guan Eng to be responsible for the casualty incident due to the over develop at the area.
Chong who is also Kota Sentosa assemblyman for 15 years has never fight for and bring the development to his constituency neither any flood mitigation plan, said Tan.
Instead, he pointed out, Chong put all the blame and responsible to Dr Sim Kui Hian and Sarwak government whenever there are any issues arised.
“Even funding for Batu Kawa Waterfront project, Taman Desa Wira road expansion, sewage system and water supply plan being cancelled by ex PH federal government, DAP Sarawak agreed with it without any objection and neither has any intention to give an explanation public. The RM2000 cash aid to every Sarawakian, UEC recognition, oil loyalty, decentralize of education and health rights to Sarawak, did Chong Chieng Jen fulfill any of this promises? Pending assemblywoman Violet Yong also made malicious claims against Dr Sim for no funding to temple and other infrastructure upgrading, ” said Tan.
He added that DAP should not contest with SUPP and let all SUPP candidates be elected as the representative of the area, so that let Dr Sim, as the SUPP president, to let his team to better manage and develop Sarawak, if DAP wants Dr Sim to responsible on all issues.
