Deputy Prime Minister visit
Deputy Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, arrived here today for a day’s visit to Sarawak.
Muhyiddin and his wife, Puan Sri Norainee Abdul Rahman, were met on arrival at the Kuching International Airport by Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem and his wife Puan Sri Jamilah Anu.
Muhyiddin began the visit by paying a courtesy call on the Yang diPertua Negeri Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud at his residence in Demak Jaya near here.
This afternoon, the Deputy Prime Minister is scheduled to attend a closed-door briefing on ‘Janji Ditepati’ (Promises Fulfilled) and to attend ‘Sekolah Amanah’ programme at SK Tabuan near here at 4.15 pm.
He is also expected to attend the Gawai Dayak celebration at Redeems Centre, Kampung Apar Singai, Bau near here.
