Courtesy visit
Kuching: The People’s Republic of China HE Ambassador to Malaysia Huang HuiKang paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Adenan Satem on Sunday, accompanied by Businessman Wee Kok Tiong and Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian.
Huang also paid a visit to the residence of Puan Sri Lim Su Kheng, the wife of the late Deputy Chief Minister, Tan Sri Sim Kheng Hong, as an appreciation to the late Sim who had established a good relationship with China.
The late Sim had followed the late former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Abdul Razak Hussein to China.
Both China and Malaysia had enjoyed a close relationship since 40 years ago. A number of programmes has been drawn up by both countries to appreciate and cherish such diplomatic ties not only politically but economically and socially.
